CNN Guest Absolutely Obliterates MAGA Pundit Scott Jennings Over ‘Don’t Worry About Epstein’ Remark

Oh, spare me.

Just when you think the bar cannot get any lower, CNN’s resident MAGA pundit grabs a shovel.

Scott Jennings, a man who cut his teeth as a staffer in the George W Bush administration, decided to grace us with his wisdom on CNN’s Newsnight.

The topic? The botched release of files related to Jeffrey Epstein’s horrific sex crimes.

The vibe? Pure, unadulterated condescension.

Jennings actually smirked while telling Americans not to “get our knickers in a twist” regarding the Department of Justice’s handling of these documents.

Yes, you read that right.

We are talking about files that lift the lid on a convicted pedophile’s web of crime.

But according to Jennings, we really just need to calm down.

The Audacity of the Smirk

Author Leigh McGowan was sitting right there, and thank goodness she was.

She went into a rage, and honestly, who can blame her?

When Jennings dropped his dismissive little line, McGowan hit back immediately.

“‘Let’s not get our knickers in a twist over child rape’” she replied, mocking him with a sarcastic, haughty accent.

She even broke into a false laugh to really drive the point home.

“Why are you talking like that? It’s insane, like it’s insane,” she told him.

It is insane.

But for the “law and order” crowd, ignoring the gravity of the situation seems to be the new normal.

McGowan laid it out clearly.

“The Epstein files are a multinational, multi-generational child and woman sex trafficking ring,” she said.

“So your attitude right now, your sort of, ‘shucks, devil be gone,’ it’s just horrifying to me.”

Law and Order… When Convenient

Here is the kicker regarding the Epstein Files Transparency Act.

The deadline for the release of these documents was December 19, 2025.

That date has long since passed.

So when Jennings claimed the DOJ “should follow the law,” he was ignoring the fact that they are already arguably breaking it.

McGowan fired back that this failure to release the files constitutes a breach.

“They are hiding it; It is not the behaviour of innocent people. Everything that is in these files, it could bring an entire house down,” she said.

And she is right.

We need to see it all.

“And, if it has to, it has to,” she added.

“If it brings down Democrats, bring them down. If it brings down Republicans, bring them down.”

She continued, “If it brings down princes, world leaders, Hollywood people, bring them down.”

The Trump Shuffle

Of course, the head of the MAGA snake is right in the middle of this mess.

Donald Trump is photographed and named in the files many times.

It is worth noting the original report says he has not been accused of wrongdoing in them.

But his behavior has been anything but transparent.

The president was busy resisting any pressure to make the documents public for a long time.

He often swatted away questions about Epstein.

“Are you still talking about Jeffrey Epstein? This guy’s been talked about for years,” Trump said.

He even described a question about the disgraced financier as a “waste of time.”

Only when it became clear that Republicans on Capitol Hill would vote to release the files did Trump reverse his position.

He signed off on their release to save face.

MAGA in Meltdown

This chaos has apparently shattered his formerly rock-solid MAGA base.

Even loyalist Marjorie Taylor Greene is turning on Trump for his failure to act quickly.

So, naturally, Trump is trying to pivot.

He is trying to use the scandal against his political enemies.

He is regularly pointing out that former President Bill Clinton is named and photographed with Epstein in the files.

But that strategy might backfire.

Clinton has insisted he has nothing to hide.

He has actually urged the DOJ to release the files further.

His spokesperson, Angel Ureña, didn’t mince words.

Ureña claimed the Justice Department’s handling of the files makes it “clear” that “someone or something is being protected.”

“We do not know whom, what or why,” Ureña wrote. “But we do know this: We need no such protection.”

The statement continued with a direct challenge.

“Accordingly, we call on President Trump to direct Attorney General Bondi to immediately release any remaining materials referring to, mentioning, or containing a photograph of Bill Clinton,” the spokesperson added.

Your move, MAGA.

Maybe stop worrying about our knickers and start worrying about the truth.
