Drake gave BTS a mention on a song from his new album Iceman, and j-hope and V let fans see their immediate response.
V posted the moment to Instagram Stories on Friday, May 15.
The clip showed the two BTS members together in a room as they danced along to Drake’s “Make Them Cry.”
Their energy stopped when Drake rapped, “I’m feeling like BTS, ’cause it took the whole career for me to be so discovered.”
j-hope and V froze at the line and stared at the camera in shock.
They then looked at each other with stunned expressions.
V did not add a caption to the video.
He only tagged Drake’s account.
The moment was not Drake’s first public connection to BTS.
In 2018, Drake used a viral video of j-hope taking part in the “In My Feelings” challenge in the official music video for the song.
“Make Them Cry” appears on Iceman, one of 18 tracks Drake released earlier Friday.
The Toronto rapper also surprised fans by releasing more music than expected.
Along with Iceman, he put out two additional albums, Maid of Honour and Habibti.
BTS released their own new album, ARIRANG, in March.
The project stayed at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 for three weeks.
Its lead single, “SWIM,” opened at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100.
The seven-member group is currently touring behind the album with stadium dates around the world.
Their latest stop was in Mexico City, where they played three nights at Estadio GNP Seguros.
