Cardi B says she has no intention of remaining single despite fans encouraging her to focus on herself after her recent breakup with Stefon Diggs.
Speaking on Wednesday in audio later shared on X, the rapper pushed back against those suggestions.
“I’ve been seeing some suggestions like, ‘I want her to be single, I want her to focus on herself.’ Bitch, I’m not going to be single for the rest of my life,” she said.
The 33-year-old explained that she had already spent the duration of her tour without pursuing anyone.
“I’ve been single throughout my whole tour,” she said.
“Single, not talking to nobody, not entertaining nobody, not anything.”

Cardi added that she has since been enjoying herself by spending time with friends, taking vacations, drinking, and going out.
She said she has been “going outside, chilling with friends, I’ve been vacationing, I’ve been drinking I’ve been having fun. I’ve been having a ball.”
According to Cardi, even enjoyable moments with friends can leave room for something more.
“But even me and my friends, even when we have a ball, we need some entertainment. Because at the end of the day baby, entertainment is needed.”
She acknowledged that she could be more selective about the men she dates but made it clear she would not apologize for continuing to see people.
“Could I pick better men? Probably. Maybe. So, whatever,” she confessed.

Cardi also addressed expectations from some fans that she should avoid relationships altogether.
“I know you guys expect me to be single. I’m not gonna be single forever. I need to be entertained. Life is cool. Life is everything. But it’s just like, all right, the p—y needs love too,” she concluded.
Her comments came only weeks after she fueled romance speculation involving Nigerian soccer player Maduka Okoye.
The pair were seen flirting at the Jean Paul Gaultier Haute Couture show during Paris Fashion Week earlier this month.
Page Six also reported on Monday that Cardi and Okoye were spotted having dinner together in Italy.
Video obtained by TMZ showed Cardi, whose real name is Belcalis Almánzar, and Okoye dining with a group of other men at Gio’s restaurant inside the St. Regis.

As rumors about the two gained attention, Okoye’s former partner, Jelicia Westhoff, publicly accused him of neglecting their 3-year-old son, Isaiah Emil Jr. Okoye.
In a social media post that was later deleted, and preserved in screenshots shared online, the model wrote, “Imagine i shut my f–king mouth, Lied about what YOU did to me, so you Could continue YOUR career and all you do is embarrasing [sic] US.”
Westhoff alleged that the 26-year-old rarely calls or visits their son because he is too “busy punishing his mother and being a baddie on social media.”
She further claimed that Okoye did not visit the child during a hospital stay in December and accused him of cheating on her with both men and women as well as physically abusing her.
In an exclusive statement to Page Six, Westhoff said she does not blame Cardi.
“[It’s] about you going out with any woman in public knowing that you don’t take care of your child,” she said.
Before the recent dating speculation, Cardi’s most recent public relationship was with NFL player Stefon Diggs.
The two confirmed their romance in May 2025 after Cardi’s separation from her estranged husband, Offset.
Cardi and Offset, whose real name is Kiari Cephus, welcomed their son last November.
Offset is also the father of five other children.
In addition to their son, Cardi and Offset share three other children together.
