Two sisters from Detroit are facing criminal charges after prosecutors said a dispute over an incorrect food order escalated into an attack on a 23-year-old worker at a Detroit chicken restaurant.
Brianna Long, 29, and Kierianna Long, 26, are accused in the May 30 incident, which allegedly included a stabbing and attempts to assault the employee with hot grease, pans and other objects, according to local reports.
The charges against both women include assault with intent to murder, assault with intent to do great bodily harm less than murder and assault with a dangerous weapon.
Both sisters have entered not guilty pleas.
Prosecutors said the women went into the restaurant after receiving the wrong order, moved behind the counter and attacked the employee, according to the outlet.
During the encounter, prosecutors alleged, the sisters threw objects at the worker, pursued her through the business, struck her with pots and pans, tried to pour hot grease onto her head and threatened to kill her.

WDIV reported that one of the sisters allegedly said, “I’m going to kill you,” during the confrontation.
Prosecutors said Kierianna then stabbed the employee in the stomach with a knife.
After the stabbing, the worker left the restaurant, hid in a stranger’s vehicle and called for help.
She was taken to a hospital, where she required surgery.
Brianna and Kierianna left the scene after the attack, but police later arrested them.
In court, defense attorneys challenged the prosecution’s account and argued that the employee provoked the confrontation by saying she did not “give a f—” about the mistake with the order.
The defense also argued that the employee threw objects first, including knives.
Brianna was nine months pregnant when the incident happened, and her attorney said she gave birth four days before her arraignment, ClickonDetroit reported.
In court, Brianna told the judge she was innocent and said she had a 4-day-old baby at home.
Brianna was held on a $25,000 cash bond.
Kierianna was held on a $100,000 cash bond.
